Every time when I say something bad about Žalgiris they do something opposite. A win yesterday was well deserved. I expected Olympiacos to be much stronger even without Macas. Gershon teams are always attacking minded. That is a good thing for Žalgiris because they also play similar type of basketball. The only way to win such games is simply to outscore the opponents because of an open basketball being played. A shame that the greens couldn't hold on their 25 point advantage and let Oly to come closer and even shorten the gap to 13 points as +16pt win would have guaranteed à ½algiris 4th place in the group.
It looks like Partizan totally destroyed Bamberg. There's a defensive basketball for you, Bauermann.

That also impresses me. I always appreciate coaches who manage to get most of their players. And I think that Trifunovic does exactly that. The team work well together. If one player has a bad day, like Eidson had against Unicaja, there's someone else who can step up and it was GeceviÄius that time. These are the things that I often miss in Žalgiris.
