I am quite pleased with this signing. Rytas has had luck with Aussies in the past. <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> I had been hoping that the Bucks would pick up Newley to put next to Bogut but if he signs with my other favorite team, I cannot complain.
After coming off of winning the ULEB cup Rytas let most of the players that led them to success (Petravicius, Eidson, Lukauskis) walk and replaced them with cheaper players and half a season of Bojan Popovic. I would like to see a few more "big" names being signed by Rytas this off season if they truly want to make it out of Euroleague group play next year.
