what about Saras? seems very weird he hadn't signed yet, sounds like he's pushing his luck with pana, and Maccabi
won't stand in the corner for long, when they'll sign a SG they won't need him anymore...[/quote]
I don't think Maccabi's in the picture anymore, Maccabi got 2 PGs already, and what does saras has to do with Maccabi signing a shooting guard? <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/mellow.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=' ' />

Leon Williams (203cm) is strongly linked with Partizan. Despite his 203cm, he plays at center position. Can someone write something about him, he is totaly unknown player to most of us in Serbia...
edit - I forgot to say that he was playing for Turkey's Erdemir last season.

Apparently he will stay with Panathinaikos, but only if he takes a lot less money than he is asking for. He is still holding out for more money. They are something like 300,000-400,000 euros a season apart.

The last couple years he played almost exclusively as a shooting guard.

I don't think there's any way maccabi brings saras as first shooting guard for this season. Unless they really got crazy.

I think he proved himself last season and deserves a chance as the first PG.
I mean, he was there in the money time (especially in the top 16), he had 5 assists for 25 minutes in the top 16. basically, last season in the end of it he was the first PG, it's just that wiz opened the games. Maccabi can do the same thing with Torrance this season, open with him and let perkins come in after a few minutes, if that's the problem (and I don't think it is) but I don't see any problem with Perkins being the first PG.. he did it great in the late stages last season.

I think we need that the open PG will be more organized, less messy (like Wiz or Saras)
Perkins is a player for special missions

Goran Dragic doesn't rule out the possibility of going back to Europe in 2011, and showed interest in playing for a Greek team.
Paul Pierce wants to finish his career in Italy or Greece when the 4 year deal with Boston expires.

These guys don't have youtube to see what happens in PAO-OLY (the only teams that can afford them) finals?
Unless this is the reason they want to come <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/crazy.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=' ' />

He will probably go to Maccabi now. Žalgiris could also try to sign him but the question is whether Romanov wants Šaras in his team. If eventually he doesn't sign with Maccabi my guess is that he will play for some other team which wasn't even rumoured to be interested in him.
