I was upset in the beginning when I heard that Sofo would be replacing Pekovic.
But now that Maric is the replacement and PAO still made an offer to Sofo I am delighted. Maric, Batiste, Vouyoukas and Sofo... very interesting to say the least.
PAO already signed 3 Greek internationals (and lost 1) so far in the summer...
If they managed to sign De Colo I will be happy, if additionally to that they can keep Saras too then I will be extremely delighted.
Respect and thanks for everything:
Alvertis, Bodiroga, Jasikevicius, Radja, Wilkins, Vrankovic, Fotsis, Rebraca, Kattash, Gentile, Koch, Middleton, Kutluay, Rogers, Papadopoulos, Becirovic, Tomasevic, Siskauskas, Pekovic, Lakovic, Vujanic, Chatzivrettas, Maljkovic, Spanoulis and many more to follow in the near future.

They should not sign Sofo and both De Colo and Saras. PAO needs to learn from past mistakes. Past teams failed big time when they added too many players. There is no need for them to stockpile so many players that only half of them can play. No Sofo. And only one of Saras or De Colo, and maybe even neither of them.

any word if Bo got what he was looking for in 1 Million Euros per?
[/quote]
â¬1.5 million euros net for 3 years. I can tell you that he is now also a citizen of FYROM. Which means that he will 90% most likely spend the rest of his career in Europe.
Let's try to keep the politics out of this thread please.

I haven't seen Carroll playing, but out of the rest I'd take Winston.

1. No De Colo issue for Panathinaikos.
2. No Sofo issue in case Maric signs.
http://www.sport.gr/default.asp?pid=4&aid=70252
3. No Hansen issue for Olympiakos (my fault).
Olympiakos' going for sth big from NBA for the front line. The other addition is a G/F and a guard-probably Beverley stays.

Winston and Richardson are both solid alternatives. I would give the nod to Richardson ever so slightly. Don't know much about Carroll.

Carroll is a pure shooter..but he's short(1.88)..although he can dunk <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=' ' />
it's hard for me to pick between Winston and Richardson but I think Winston has a slight advantage over Richardson because Richardson is like a shooting guard stuck in a small forward's body,so it's hard for him to guard SGs because his legs are slower
Richardson is 2.01
Winston is 1.98
but I would love to see either one of them <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/cool.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=' ' />

I thought Carroll was short too but since i discovered Louis Bullock is only 1.85 (never really noticed that while watching him play) my whole perspective has changed. No doubt he has been one of the best and dominant SG in Europe during the last decade, so I guess if you're really good height isn't important.

One of the journalists who has good connections with management of BC Partizan said that Mirsad Jahovic is Partizan's target to replace Lawrence Roberts... I don't belive that is possible to happen, I guess he has pretty big sallary. He has been linked with Partizan every single year in the past..

I know they are listed that way, but from watching them, I would say Winston is more like 2.00 and Richardson is more like 1.99. I could be wrong, but it looks more like that to me.
