Vilius, today Maciulis gave us exactly what I expect out of him. Hopefully he can keep it up! If he can play this well against Spain there's no reason he can't do the same in against teams like Canada! The August 31 Jonas Maciulis is necessary for Lithuania's success going forward well beyond this tournament. <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thup.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

I have to agree with on this one. Mačiulis did a massive job against Spain and also yesterday against France. He needs to use his aggressiveness in the right way then he be very dangerous. Not a scoring machine but a serious force on both ends of the court.

The team surprised me a lot. They are playing beyond all expectations. One could see many similarities between this team and the one of 2000. If only they could repeat such performance.

The coaching is also good. Kemzūra could have used Andriuškevičius much more imo but he got the wins anyway so I guess we can't complain. But the most important thing to me is that this team is never giving up. Even when they are in really bad situation they stay calm and play with confidence. That's something that maybe the teams of previous years, despite having stars, sometimes lacked.

It's way too early to celebrate now but semi-final doesn't look like mission impossible.

France losing accidentally to the Kiwis (New Zealand)? Another example of a fixed game <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Rolleyes' /> <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thudown.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/mellow.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Mellow' />

That's, again, pathetic. Maybe it was revenge to Greece for Eurobasket 2009?

No, actually.

Greece would play vs Spain in any New Zealand win with 1-28 points over France.

But France needed to lose with less than 12 to avoid Turkey and play against Russia but Batum fouled Penney ona made threepointer (+1 ft)... and then their shot went in and out in the buzzer beater...

Another huge FAIL for France... <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Laugh' />
