Hahahaha!!!

I was sure! <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Biggrin' />

Now we'll see the real F4 contenders!!! <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/bag.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Bag' />

I was positive that the lock-out would end... and here we are!!!

Teams like PAO, Barca, OLY and CSKA should feel vindicated!! They'd done the right thing!! <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thup.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

The only thing left is to see what happens with Kirilenko! If he has a good offer from a playoff team or a contender team I think he will go!

I can't wait to see what happens with the... New World Order!!! <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Biggrin' />

Papaloukas and Ohayon will enjoy more minutes until a new PG is brought, Burstein will probably play more at the 1 and Langford's minutes will grow immediately, he'll have to upgrade his performance.. if Langford will be needed for a few minutes here and there as PG we'll probably see Smith/Burstein at the 2 and possibly Blu at the 3 to form a very big line-up. Blatt has many options, the 3 that'll mostly 'enjoy' the situation are Ohayon, Papaloukas and Langford, Pnini might step up and get extra minutes at the 2 like he did last season after Perk's injury.

To sum it up, many players that didn't impress so far will get the chance to make it up for that, those that'll take their game to the next level will see significant minutes, Blatt has many combinations possible and most importantly, I just hope we get Farmar's replacement soon so that he'd be a real part of the team by the time the top16 starts

Rudy has a contract with Dallas, he will go back. Ilyasova has a contract with Milwaukee and wants out. He has asked the Bucks to buy him out of his contract. The Bucks have not acted because of the lockout. Ilyasova thinks that he is done in Milwaukee but it is the Bucks' decision. I think that they will release him though.

Adam Morrison and TJ Ford will be free to stay. Songaila will also stay.

Odom will never go, Williams will return. Batum and Parker will return.

Sorry for how scattered this post is, I am thinking through the NBA players in Europe (not just Euroleague) trying to think of whether or not they have a valid NBA contract.

Much better list than I put together. TJ Ford is a free agent but you're right his contract has an NBA out clause. I can't see any team giving him a worthwhile contract in the NBA (anything above the Veteran Minimum). I think that he's better off staying in Europe but we'll see.

It's true that with the current roster, Maccabi will have a problem in PG position regarding the duration + quality!

I mean they have quality in Papaloukas but he hasn't duration.

The others may have duration but they don't have quality.

To sum up, Maccabi has no one with both quality and duration. <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/huh.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Huh' />

That's why they signed Langford... I think! <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/bag.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Bag' />

I think he can replace Farmar easy(?) in scoring.

yes but langford is not the player he was.it seems wrong to sign him.so they need a pargo style player.pg & scorer
Reply
A new PG will be brought so the problem in this position will be solved, as for a scoring guard that's what Langford was brought here to do, so far he's having some problems but eventually he'll be the good old Langford.. it's not easy to join a team after they finished all the preparation stage together and the first games of the season but he'll catch up eventually.

plus langford isn't so good shooter as farmar..i think blatt will have big problem

I believe that he just needs to adjust in the new environment(Maccabi) just like Rakocevic in Siena!

Also, he did no preperation as far as I know...

He's not ready.

I don't say that the injury didn't affect him but let's wait...!

i agree with you.that was just a prediction.he is not going to deliver.i believe the same for rako.he is not going to make it.and i like a lot both playwrs, especially rako.there arent in good shape and both choises arent the ideal for chemistry.siena wanted a player like hairston and maccabi a pargo style.thats just my opinion
