I've read that he wont play with Efes because of doping scandal. But now, his suspension is over and now what, they will renew the contract with him?

I really hope we're goin for Langford, a high level SG is much needed in the team. Ohayon isn't a bad player, he's a terrific defender, has a great court vision and good passing abilities but until he improves his shooting abilities from mid-range and 3 he can't be more than a 10mpg player in the Euroleague. He has shown a great improvement since he came to Maccabi, a much better player than he used to be (I believe once again it's the Blatt effect) but Blatt is no magician, if Ohayon works hard on his shooting he can become a good back-up PG in the Euroleague level within a season or two, if he doesn't he'll stay a player that's missing this one thing that stands between him and a place as a legitimate Euroleague level player.

To Serbian guys- any update about Partizan and Macvan? from what I understood, Langford's signing may depend on that.



EDIT:now sport5 say that Macvan is very likely to move to Partizan today or tomorrow after the team gave a higher offer and Macvan agreed to cut his salary for this season.

Rumors are that it is done deal, and the only question is will he be there in time to play against Efes.

I'm happy he will play in Partizan, if Blatt insisted on loaning him then there's no better place than Partizan. I really hope he'll make some progress this season (although I think he has already shown a lot of improvement from watching him in EB and 2 Adriatic league games) and next season we'll get a better player, also Hendrix will finish his contract and Blu isn't getting any younger so next season will be the perfect time for him to jump back in the team and get some serious playing time in Maccabi.
