I'm thinking this group might be the strongest. No shark meat in this group. Even Prokom can make a surprise, we saw that already two years ago.

Yeah but in this group we already know that Barca will finish first and Siena second.

Then, it will be interesting to see which the other two teams will be! <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Wink' />

Not a boring group, but not as interesting as group C. Here you got 4 teams that'll fight for places 3-4 with Barca and Siena finishing 1-2 and Unics, Prokom, Ljubljana and Galatasaray fighting for the leftovers, while in group C I think you got 5 teams that everything can happen between them.

With Jagodnik injured, Olimpija will have a hard time qualifying to second round. The team is relatively unexperienced and does not have a leading shooting guard, just two very young prospects. But I am sure the crowd in Stozice Arena will help overcome those problems. <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Smile' />

You mean, you were depend so much on a 37 year-old player?! <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/huh.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Huh' />

Well, he was a team captain and he was always there for the team in critical situations. Despite his age, he is still a great player. You can find a proof for that in last year's October MVP award. <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Wink' />

Nice win for Olimpija yesterday, even though they have played without two best PF's Jagodnik and Markota (he is injured, so he only played for couple of minutes). I hope they will beat Galatasaray too ...

The main problem for Olimpija is that the ticket prices are just too high for the current economic situation. They are more expensive than the last years top16 tickets. A lot of people come from all around slovenia so it is quite expensive to go to a game as it is. Olimpija played really bad against barca and siena, so this is another reason why there were so few people at the game against prokom. I am sure that after this win there wil be some more fans against galatasaray and if olimpija manages to win and top16 becomes a reality even more people will come. And if nachbar comes even more people will come.

And Jagodnik is indeed a very important factor for this team. On and of the court. This a very inexperienced team, and Jagoda can help a lot. He is ice cold when he needs to be, he didn't miss a single important shot last year and he shot plenty of them.

The young players are really doing great at the moment, but they just lack the experience that jagodnik has, he would be a great addition even if he would only help with some guidance for the young guys.

I think that Olimpija has enough potential to fight for a spot in the top16, I would even put some money on this option if they indeed sign Nahcbar. But they have to finalize this asap because even if they sign the contract tomorrow, nachbar can not help against galatasaray and this is already one of the most important games of the season for olimpija.

It's time for Euroleague administration to take A-licence from Prokom <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Laugh' /> They have 0-4 with Zagreb they are the worst team in Euroleague. And Prokom even don't have good attendance so why they get licence?? <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/bag.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Bag' />

No. Olimpija killed themselves at the start of the season with the players they signed and with the manegament they have. If they know they gonna be a struggling team they should spend their money wisely. So much things wrong with this club that i even don't know where to start.
