Speaking about CSKA, did you know that their budget is $50M? Batiste would be a good signing for them no doubt.
#24
I think that number is incorrect, i read somewhere that it was $30M in total (players+staff+academy etc).

Panathinaikos which got the highest budget in Greece got a little over that $15M.

Batiste would be a good signing for any Euroleague club after he was taught basketball from scratch from Obradovic for 4 years, he was a useless SF when Panathnaikos first signed him from a Belgian club, he was the black Javtokas hehehe.

He might even issue a Belgian passport and play as European next season.

Efes Pilsen signed one of Zeleznik stars Aleksandar Rasic. He has a bright future. I remember him from a game vs Lietuvos Rytas in ULEB Cup semi-final.
#26
Maccabi coach Neven Spahija could be on his way out after a poor season and a crushing loss against CSKA in Euroleague quarter-finals first game. He is a good coach but Maccabi didn't have a strong squad this season. I wonder who could be the new coach.

Gershon?
Gershon?
Didn't he have a conflict with Maccabi board when he wa coach and that resulted him moving to Oly?
#29
Its professional sports, no pride involved.

Anyway, Climamio is after Hoskins who was released by Olympiakos as he only played in Euroleague matches.

David Bluthenthal could return to Maccabi after he was released by Climamio. He would replace either Jamie Arnold or Yaniv Green as it is expected that one of them will be released. The future of Simas Jasaitis is also in doubt. He was brought to Maccabi by Spahija and could leave the club together with him if the new coach doesn't see him fit in the team.
#31
Lithuanian rising star Renaldas Seibutis who is owned by Olympiacos and is loaned out to Maroussi this season is wanted by 3 NBA clubs and a few teams in Europe. Seibutis turned down Armani Jeans offer to join the club for the remaining part of the season. Italian club is 4th in Serie A and have good chances in play-offs. Rockets, Heat and Mavericks are the teams that have shown interest in him. It is quite possible that Seibutis will participate in the NBA Draft and could be drafted.
#32
as for Maccabi. Spahija will propably leave but I wont be suprrise if he stays, Simas staying is depended on the next coach decision. Bynum is wantd for long term contract &<img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Smile' />

Vilius, i ve watched Seibutis at least 4 times, live, he is a decent player with decent stats. But... he is too weak, both physically and emotionally.

GuyOFK, why the hell would Maccabi want to keep Bynum? The guy is a walking disaster, even worse than Scoonie Penn or Willie Solomon, heh.

From Jaskevicius to Bynum, imagine.

Well at last games of TOP 16 and quarter finals with CSKA he played well and in last games at domestice league he is dominate. tope scorrer and good passer.

<accabi thinks that he can become a great european star iif he been given the chance. plz do not forget : it's his 1th european season , he is young, he pushed into a big club and had to get used to it.

I think it's a smart move. do not forget that the club is not with the richest any more and got huge difficulities to bring high performace playres in the current budget.

Will Bynum signed new 2-year contract with Maccabi.

Žalgiris will keep their current coach Rimantas Grigas.
