i would expect all home teams to win, including efes. Away games won't be easy at this stage. <!-- s:ball: --><!-- s:ball: -->

Well I think the best game will be: Olympiakos vs Maccabi Tel-Aviv and Barcelona vs Unicaja Malaga. I hope my team will achieve the first victory which is very important in this stage. I also hope Panathinaikos and Aris will manage to win over their opponents. Go Greece, go!!! <!-- sSmile --><!-- sSmile -->

CSKA Moscow 72 - 71 Lottomatica

Efes Pilsen 74 - 64 Panathinaikos

Lietuvos Rytas 81 - 84 Tau Ceramica

2 of 3 group winners lost. I am very interested in hearing what happened in Istanbul. Now about what I saw. CSKA were down by 11 with less than 2 minutes to go. We all know what they can do in such a short time but I was rooting for Lottomatica and it looked like they could hold till the end. CSKA down by 2 and Langdon hits a buzzer beater 3-pointer <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/ohmy.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Ohmy' />

A tight game was expected in Vilnius and so it was. Rytas couldn't find ways to score and were behind by 5-8 points for most of the time. At one point in the 3rd quarter TAU were ahead by 11. But Trifunovic changed the game and final minutes were really great to watch. It have gone either way but Price made a very costly turnover with less than 10 seconds to go. If these two teams will fight for a place in Quarter-Finals then and theri win-loss balance will be the same then it would be enought for Rytas to win by 4 in Vitoria.

Aris 88-96 Fenerbahce Ulker

Montepaschi 71-54 Partizan

Barcelona 64-62 Unicaja

Real Madrid 88-85 Žalgiris

Olympiacos 67-75 Maccabi

I was pleasantly surprised with what Žalgiris did last night. They played away against one of the favourites to win EL and did really well. More organised defence could have brought a win. N'Diaye fit in well which can not be said about Markota. He's still adjusting. Overall it was a good game and I enjoyed it despite the final result. Both Lithuanian clubs lost but I see positive things in that. If they play like that in the rest of Top 16 games anything can happen.
