It's good to see you posting again. Personally I have little faith that the problems will be solved. The board is playing games behind the scenes. They say that their debt is 5M Litas but some sources say it's 15M. If that's true then there's no surprise that the club can't find a serious investor. Because nobody wants to take the club with such a big debt. But that's just speculation. However it indeed sounds realistic.



Zalgiris is supported by Kaunas municipality and they get 5M Litas from the every year. Because of this situation, they asked for the money that were reserved for 2009. They got it. But that only solves the problem for a couple of months until the club spends the money.



There were talks that the club will let all the most expensive players go and replace them with their youth team players. If the things are to change, it will only happen next season in my opinion.
