Euroleague playoff quarter-finals
#1
Olympiakos vs Real Madrid

Barcelona vs TAU

Panathinaikos vs Siena

CSKA Moscow vs Partizan

The most interesting matchup is Barcelona vs TAU, it really can go either way, but I think Barcelona has a slight edge. After that one, Oly vs Real Madrid will also be an extremely interesting clash, but Real's inconsistency might play in Oly's favour, and I think the reds will go through. Partizan caught a shark and I don't think they'll be able to go to the Final Four, even though they beat the Russians in Moscow earlier. I might be proven wrong, but I don't think that will happen again. Panathinaikos will have a hard time, but I think they'll win three games.

It should be very entertaining quarter-finals. It's a shame that Partizan got CSKA at this stage. I wanted them to make it to the Final Four and now it seems impossible. I think rikhardur is right with his predictions. My picks would also be Oly, Barca, Pao and CSKA.

its seems to me that everything is already written. all home team will go to f4. the incredible home lost of tau was a really big surprise that convince me tau is under a maledition <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Smile' /> is a great team but at the end always happen something to stope them . in my opinion they are better than oly.

I'm going with Barca, Olympiacos, Seina and CSKA. As much as I want Partizan in the next round, it looks like their trip is over. If they had home court advantage I would actually pick them to advance, but they don't. Barca-Tau is tough, but I think Barca are the better team when everything is clicking. Siena are underrated and I believe in their ability to beat Panathinaikos, even without home court. Olympiacos are starting to gel, and Real are relatively weak...I'd go out on a limb and say they're the worst team in the 1/4 finals at this point.

Tough draw for Partizan. <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Sad' />

kobi siena maybe will not have lavrinovic is a bad new for them altought i think siena is a fantastic team anyway.i love partizan i'm for them because as u know they represent the perfect example of what is a right policy of a team, but cska at home can't loose

I think PAO shouldn't have much difficulty against Siena without Lavrinovic, Lavrinovic is the only scorer in Siena front-line and his 3-Pts' range open-up Siena rival's defence.

In Olympiakos - Real Madrid matchup both team's are unpredictable - both teams can lose to AJ Milano or almost lose to ALBA, and also both teams can win at CSKA or at TAU. Olympiakos is more talented and has home-court advantage so I guess Olympiakos will qualify to the F4.

CSKA Moscow is obvious favourite against Partizan, but you can't underestimate more than 20,000 Serbian fan's. anyhow CSKA isn't the "beast" she was last year, Planinic and Lorbek ain't Papalukas and David Andersen...

Barcelona vs TAU matchup is the most intresting one, TAU won couple of playoff's without homecourt-advantage and TAU obviously has nice matchup against Barcaelona since TAU won the last 7 games against Barcaelona. Anyway this series is going to be interesting...

Panathinaikos will probably miss Diamantidis, at least for Game One, and I think Siena will be able to beat them without him. Can't wait for the games to start already.
