Although it is highly expected that Ettore Messina will soon sign a contract with Real Madrid as part of rebuilding process initiated by the club's new president Florentino Perez, Italian coach himself has admitted being contacted by the Spanish giants but didn't reveal any more details.



Former CSKA Moscow head coach told to Spanish newspaper Marca that he must decided whether to accept the offer from CSKA and stay in another position or not.



Messina didn't confirm nor denied rumours about a potential move to NBA to Sacramento Kings. He said that while he has talks with the clubs he can't reveal anything to the public.

According to the spanish website marca.com the Italian coach has reached an agreement with Jorge Valdano and is moving to Madrid for the next 3 seasons. The only thing missing is the signature.



The deal is to be anounced by the end of the next week and plans about the roster are already being made. The coach's first decisions have to be about the players whose contracts are ending namely Raul Lopez, Alex Mumbru and Tomas Van den Spiegel. Tomas and Massey are most likely out of the team.

Is it official moves Lampe and Lavrinovic? If they get both then they will be very strong indeed.



I think Pamesa is right for Greer's level of play. He will have less pressure there.



I like Kaimakoglou as a backup power forward. I think Pridezis needs to leave because if he stays in Olympiacos he will stay at this level forever, be just a good backup, nothing more.

As it was announced through the official website of Fenerbahce Ulker, the Turkish National Team star Mirsad Turkcan extended his contract with the club for the next two seasons.



The 33-year old veteran who joined the club in 2005 has seen a lot of success with the club (Ulker in 2005 before the merge with Fenerbahce in 2006) will offer his services to the club for another 2 years. He has led Fenerbahce Ulker to three champinships in the past seasons, all over Efes Pilsen in the finals.



The Serbian born player has also played for Fenerbahce Ulker's arch rivals Efes Pilsen for 5 seasons while other career stops include major European clubs like CSKA Moscow, Montepaschi Siena and Dynamo Moscow.



Turkcan has averaged 15.5 points and 8.5 rebounds in Euroleague and 11.5 points and 6 rebounds in the Turkish League while it is worth noting that he is Euroleague's top rebounder of all times and the only one to have grabbed more than 1000 rebounds with 1146 total rebounds.
