2009/10 in-season rumours and signings
Quote:Andrés Nocioni wants to play for Caja Laboral next season

According to sources consulted by The Hoops Market, Andrés Nocioni wants to leave the United States due to personal reasons, and land again in his former city, Vitoria, to play for Caja Laboral. The 30-year-old Argentinian forward, now in the Sacramento Kings, played for the Basque team between 1999 and 2004 (including a one-year loan to Manresa during the 2000-01 season), before moving to the NBA. Nocioni would have to agree to a buy-out of his remaining two-year, $14 million contract with the Kings to be back to Spain. Caja Laboral has been interested in bringing Nocioni back since he left the team in 2004.

Quote:Marcus Haislip agrees to terminate his contract with Panathinaikos

Marcus Haislip is no longer player of the Panathinaikos, after agreeing with the Greek powerhouse to part ways. The former player of Unicaja landed in Athens after an unimpressive start of the season in the NBA for the San Antonio Spurs. Haislip averaged 2.5 points and 1.0 rebounds for Panathinaikos in the Greek A1 league.

PF Richard Hendrix(24,202) from Granada almost certain will play in Unicaja next season for around €1M.

Hendrix just in his first year after college(Alabama) is one of the candidates for ACB MVP of the season.

One of the best players this season in the ACB,and if he continues like this he will be one of the best PF in Europe in the near future.
Hendrix's huge.

But don't be so sure he will end up in Unicaja.

Maccabi is also intersted.

Nothing official yet, but I've been told there were talks.

Lottomatica Roma wants Earl Boykins

Matteo Boniciolli, coach of Lottomatica Roma, said that his team needs another backcourt player, and admitted Earl Boykins could be an option. The American guard has just finished the NBA season with the Washington Wizards, where the 33-year-old player arrived last November. Boykins has experience in Italy after playing for Virtus Bolognia in the 2008-09 season, with Boniciolli as the head coach. <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Rolleyes' />

Well, I see... No one has any info about the transfers you're talkin about. I love Rumours. Rumour is about Raduljca and Olympiakos, Kaimakoglou and PAO. Anyway, I think that Olympiakos needs 1 PF/C , 1 SG and 1 combo guard Vujcic Halperin and Penn out. PAO loses Pekovic 100000% and needs 3 in the paint plus 1 Combo and 1 SF.

GIMME RUMOURS BOUT IT!!!!!!!!!
It seems that Saras on his way back to Maccabi:

http://www.basketnet.gr/main/2/euroleagu...lmacb.html
there is no interst from Maccabi in Saras.there was no talks according to ProTalent Spokesman.and this is what he said last night:

"ProTalent wants to clarify that Panathinaikos player and our client - Sarunas Jasikevicius, who has a contract at the Greek club till June 2010,didn't and will not discuss about a new contract with any team till the season is over.

We did not receive any offer or did not have any talks with Israeli club - Maccabi Tel-Aviv and all the talks about Jasikevicius "agreeing with Maccabi" or "On his way to Maccabi" are just a flase roumors.

Jasikevicius will end the season with Panathinaikos and after that we will discuss about next season.

I just gave the rumour as it. I don't know how many true we can use from those articles, but rumour, as is, this is the thread.
The agent of Sergio Rodríguez, José Ortiz, admitted that to go back to Europe is a possibility for the Spanish guard. Rodríguez, who has finished the season with the New York Knicks, will become a restricted free agent, and is considering his options to stay in the NBA or to leave to Europe. Several teams, according to his agent, are interested in him.

Regal Barcelona will try to improve the team roster next season, and could land Rudy Fernández and Andrés Nocioni. The Spanish guard would arrive in case Sandro Rosell, the main favorite to be the next chairman of the club, is elected, while Nocioni would be the subsitute of Pete Mickael if the American forward decides to play in the NBA. Real Madrid is also reported to be interested in signing both players. The Argentinian forward, though, would prefer to play in his former team, Caja Laboral.

Pepu Hernández, the recently hired coach of DKV Joventut, is a close friend of the veteran forward of Unicaja, Carlos Jiménez. Both worked together in Estudiantes and in the Spanish NT. The coach would love to have again Jiménez in his team, now Joventut, despite the elevated cost to sign the 34-year-old player.

i hope pao will be very active and try to bring some of the big names that are rumored to return to europe
Schwach wie flasche leer
Martynas Gecevicius a top candidate for Maccabi next year.

a representative of the israeli team was in the BBL final on saturday and discussed a possible move for the talented PG.

Gershon really wants Gecevicius for next year and sees him as perfect combination with Doron Perkins.

So maybe Maccabi won't get Sarunas Jasikevicius but will get a player that is really similer to him only 13 years younger.

So why not?.........Gershon already bring Teodosic to Olympiacos so why not Gecevicius to Maccabi?
