It's a big loss. Are there any names who could be his successor?
Not yet. Serbia NT 2011 - Led00 - 02-17-2011 Petrovic, Nikolic, Alexandar Djordjevic, Svetislav Pesic r the guessing of the journalist... Serbia NT 2011 - Kenneth23 - 02-17-2011 I have heard the name of Sasha Djordjevic,Aleksandar Trifunovic, Luka Pavicevic, Dusko Vujosevic and Svetislav Pesic. But from what I'm hearing Sasha is the most serious candidate to replace Ivkovic. Trifunovic and Pavicevic are already headcoaches of clubs(Rytas and Alba Berlin) but they could be candidates. Dule will not be the next headcoach because he will be a part of the Montenegro NT staff as an adviser. And Pesic can't coach a NT if he stays headcoach of Valencia because ACB prohibits coaches, who are operating in the championship(AC ![]() I think Sasha would be a good choice. He can prove that he's a good headcoach. And if Pesic doesn't stay at Valencia he would terrific. He's a legend but I think that he'll stay at Valencia. So I hope Sasha because new headcoach Serbia NT 2011 - Black Urum - 02-17-2011 Pavicevic was fired by Alba. Serbia NT 2011 - Kenneth23 - 02-17-2011
Pavicevic was fired by Alba.
My bad, I had forgotten. But I think Sasha would be a very good fit for Serbia Serbia NT 2011 - stefans - 02-23-2011 There is rumors that Ivkovic will come back. <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=' ![]() Serbia NT 2011 - Kenneth23 - 02-23-2011 I would find it very strange that he first leaves and then return. But I wouldn't seeing him return. But if he doesn't I would love to see Sasha as the next headcoach Serbia NT 2011 - Led00 - 02-23-2011 It is all about empty promises from Kapicic, ex president of the KSS. If we have a new big guy on the chair, Ivkovic will return, if this ones find the money... Serbia NT 2011 - Raze Lupin - 03-09-2011 Quote: SRB â Pesic says Serbia should point to youth for new national team coach Why is it that no one wants to coach the national team? Serbia NT 2011 - Led00 - 03-09-2011 It is simple. All those coaches did it for 20 years just because they love basketball and our country. Unfortunatly, there were no money, ever... No one wants to keep bringing good results, because in that case no changes r going to be made. They want to out-throne the current bosses and make a better system that will work for years! But nothing of that can happen while the results r present because people r blinded by it...
