I have heard the name of Sasha Djordjevic,Aleksandar Trifunovic, Luka Pavicevic, Dusko Vujosevic and Svetislav Pesic. But from what I'm hearing Sasha is the most serious candidate to replace Ivkovic. Trifunovic and Pavicevic are already headcoaches of clubs(Rytas and Alba Berlin) but they could be candidates. Dule will not be the next headcoach because he will be a part of the Montenegro NT staff as an adviser. And Pesic can't coach a NT if he stays headcoach of Valencia because ACB prohibits coaches, who are operating in the championship(AC
, to take charge of national team.I think Sasha would be a good choice. He can prove that he's a good headcoach. And if Pesic doesn't stay at Valencia he would terrific. He's a legend but I think that he'll stay at Valencia. So I hope Sasha because new headcoach

âThey should bring a youngster.

Pesic, meanwhile, is busy leading Power Electronics Valencia in the ACB.
The club has lost power forward James Augustine for several weeks to a foot injury.
"We are a little bit decimated as we are without Augustine and (Victor) Claver but we know that crying will not help us and that we have to give our best,â he said ahead of Wednesdayâs clash at Caja Laboral.
"Once again, we play against a favorite to win the ACB.
âIt's difficult to play many games without Claver.
âAugustine was starting to play at the level that the team needed, especially in rebounds, where he was key and that generates many problems.â

It is simple. All those coaches did it for 20 years just because they love basketball and our country. Unfortunatly, there were no money, ever... No one wants to keep bringing good results, because in that case no changes r going to be made. They want to out-throne the current bosses and make a better system that will work for years! But nothing of that can happen while the results r present because people r blinded by it...

I understand. Maybe if they lose then the current boss will change. Do you have a solution for the problem? What would you like to see change in the Serbia basketball system?

This generation of players we have now is maybe the most talented after 90/91 generation! But no young "stars" r made. I agree that we will be dominant force along with USA, Spain, Lithuania etc, but i don't c who will replace them in 10 years. Maybe it is too early, but we don't have a good youth system...

i don't agree. Usa teach childrens how effectively dunk, high jump, but they don't teach children basic things - Share the ball, not selfih plays, shooting culture. These things a lot better knowledge Lithuania/Serbia youth coaches

Some will say that the USA system is better and some will say that the Lithuanian/Serbian system is better. Everybody has his opinion.
They USA players are sometimes more selfish. But that doesn't always leads to victory. Some young American guys are arrogant and look down on the European players. That is something you don't a lot with young European guys. Each system has his pros and his contras

I agree. <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thup.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':thup:' /> But i was more talking about USA system how they have college leagues.And from that new players are coming.And in Serbia maybe 1/10 of players goes on next stage(success in basketball).Others become working class or go to faculty.
