I can't wait for the Top 16 to start, it's so unpredictable. - Black Urum - Jan 28, 2009 GROUP E TAU vs Prokom Sopot Milano vs Olympiacos GROUP F Real Madrid vs Barcelona Maccabi Tel Aviv vs Alba Berlin GROUP G Panathinaikos vs Partizan Roma vs Unicaja GROUP H Cibona vs Siena Fenerbahçe vs CSKA Moscow - rikhardur - Jan 30, 2009 Giannakis's demise... Out of the NT and maybe out of Oly? I wouldn't be surprised <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> - GuyOFK - Jan 30, 2009 As I said before Gianakis is not the coach for such team as Oly with great athlets and great scorers and versityle playres. Imho Gershon was the right coach for this team and could be the one to chalenge PAO domination. - TalkBasket - Jan 30, 2009 Money won't buy titles for Oly this year unless they change their coach. I agree with Guy on this one. Giannakis is not the type of coach that the current squad needs. PAO vs. Partizan was fun to watch until the Greeks turned on their defense and left almost no chances for Partizan. Pekovic was too good for any of Partizan's big men to stop him. But I still feel that we could see a different story in Belgrade ... maybe <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> Unicaja was better than Lottomatica. Despite making more turnovers they hit more shots and defended better. Lottomatica made a late run but that wasn't enough. - GuyOFK - Jan 30, 2009 I think that what we see this days in the EL is a situation that coaches satyed too much and too long in the sme place when they should have change their location. I'm speaking about coach Obradovic and coach Messina. I think that a change last season could only do good for all sides. |
