Siena will win whether 3-1 or 3-2!

QF: 2 - Montepaschi Siena - Olympiacos Piraeus - Black Urum - Mar 2, 2012

Siena are favourites, but this series could go down to the last game. Italian did a mistake for not caring about their last game, because now they have shown Olympiacos that they have a weakness at home.

QF: 2 - Montepaschi Siena - Olympiacos Piraeus - i dont mind - Mar 2, 2012

siena is a system team not like olympiacos depending on spanoulis. if they can stop spanoulis, which is not going to be easy, they can win 3-1.

QF: 2 - Montepaschi Siena - Olympiacos Piraeus - stefans - Mar 2, 2012

I give little advantage to Montepaschi.Remembering few years ago when was the worst game for Montepaschi in play-off against Olympiacos. In that time Olympiacos was good financially ,but now they have talented players ready to prove. <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thup.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

siena no doubt.3-1 or 3-2.i don't think olympiakos can win at palaestra

QF: 2 - Montepaschi Siena - Olympiacos Piraeus - Roy M - Mar 2, 2012

I can't see how Oly can take a game in Toskana.

in can be 3:1 or 3:2, but only in the Peace and friendship.

Yeah but they lost to Real which is a really good team and I'm really surprised they didn't qualify.

I don't think Olympiacos would stand a chance even with Real as an opponent.

QF: 2 - Montepaschi Siena - Olympiacos Piraeus - ZEUS - Mar 4, 2012

I'm giving Olybiakos much higher chances than at the start of the season. No relation how they were then, to how they are playing now. Dorsey is one of the best Euroleague centers at the moment, and I think it may be to Siena's detriment if they think that everything is covered if they just lock down Spanoulis. Prindezis is on top form, the best shape he's ever been in. Law can cause some real damage too, it just takes him some time to get into the game before he starts off. Dorsey is a machine on both sides of the court, but he needs support from the rest of the centers, he can't be playing only on his own. Let's see what 'dinosaur Papadopoulos' has left in him to give Dorsey some breathers. Antic is a really peculiar 'big' man, because he's a 210 cm big man who think he's a guard, and he's not really a dependable forward at all- this will be a problem. I think this match will be important for Oly's young players to make a name for themselves, especially if they manage to knock out Siena. I'm going 51-49 advantage to Siena, but Oly has really pulled up their boot straps, so to underestimate them would be a major blunder from the Italians.

Siena has Herston as their weapon, but Oly will be seeking to shut him down, just like Siena wants to do with Spanoulis. How Siena will be able to handle this, I'm not sure since I've only watched one of their matches this season, but I think each and every game will be a very close one.

Hairston is playing for Armani now!

^ Wait, what? <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rofl3.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Rofl3' />

*checks Siena roster*

OK I'm a n00bz0r <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Biggrin' />

I've basically been following Armani more because of Fotsis and Bouroussis playing there, but they ain't no Siena <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Laugh' /> Kaukenas, McCalebb and Andersen should be wielding the heavy damage (Stonerook somewhat?), Zisis may also step up if Oly forgets about him. I'm actually interested in watching how Dorsey goes up against Andersen, although Andersen isn't the same like he was back in the day, he's still a punisher <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Wink' />

Siena has been in a slump lately from their last two games, having lost both in Serie A and in the Euroleague against Real. This could possibly work to Oly's advantage in the first game, who knows?

QF: 2 - Montepaschi Siena - Olympiacos Piraeus - Black Urum - Mar 4, 2012

Kaukenas is out for the rest of the season.

QF: 2 - Montepaschi Siena - Olympiacos Piraeus - frikoulos - Mar 6, 2012

tough match.siena seems steady from the begining of the season, mccaleb is on fire, but oly has significantly improved and can bring siena at predicament.52% for siena

QF: 2 - Montepaschi Siena - Olympiacos Piraeus - ZEUS - Mar 6, 2012

Ah, some interesting info there. Siena just edged past Armani in a Serie A matchup tonight, their losing streak didn't last THAT long.

QF: 2 - Montepaschi Siena - Olympiacos Piraeus - Fivepack - Mar 12, 2012

Oly has had an odd season so far this year. I think Sienna is up for a shock. I predict 3-2 for Oly. Their mental will should see them through. <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Biggrin' />

QF: 2 - Montepaschi Siena - Olympiacos Piraeus - Black Urum - Mar 13, 2012

I hope if Oly loses this series they won't make another announcement blaming the refs for their own failures.

QF: 2 - Montepaschi Siena - Olympiacos Piraeus - TeoTheGreek13 - Mar 21, 2012

Oly caused the first break for this year and I think that they have good chances of winning on Friday too because of the momentum.

Siena won the first 3 quarters but they managed to lose. Ofcourse Oly was the one who forced them to the loss.

Good job from Olympiacos!

QF: 2 - Montepaschi Siena - Olympiacos Piraeus - ZEUS - Mar 21, 2012

I said it before, Prindezis is in his best form ever. He's never been a more mature and decisive player, what a surprise to see him become the player he is now, too bad he couldn't pull this off 5 years ago, he'd have stayed abroad with a hefty contract. I wanna see that performance on the NT too!!!!! <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Biggrin' />

QF: 2 - Montepaschi Siena - Olympiacos Piraeus - stefans - Mar 22, 2012

Don't mess with Duda <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Laugh' /> Anyway good job for Olympiacos.Only two wins at home and they are on Final four. <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thup.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

QF: 2 - Montepaschi Siena - Olympiacos Piraeus - ZEUS - Mar 24, 2012

Very close match, Oly lost to fine details, 81-80. Very shitty attitude of the Siena hoodlums against Dorsey. WTF is up with them spitting at everyone? Siena should be punished for the unruly attitude of their fans, this stuff is crossing the line. I think Oly looks like they are ready to clinch this in Pireas, they just have to keep their heads together, because they definitely have the team and skill to overcome Siena, they've proved it.

QF: 2 - Montepaschi Siena - Olympiacos Piraeus - smooth criminal - Mar 24, 2012

now the pressure to olympiakos..
