The draw will begin at 11:00 local time. Both FIBA and ULEB are trying to resolve their differences recently. As a result the draw of all competitions is held at the at the same event.

Immediately after his arrival childress stated to the Greek media:



"I feel really good coming back. I am happy and can't wait for the new season to start. I am sure that we will win a title and make our fans happy this season." Childress stated and concluded:



"The new guy will help the team a lot. They are very good players and their presence will make the team even stronger. It is very positive that the team did not make many changes and have kept the same squad core as last season. We were a very good team last season but I think that this season we will be even stronger after adding bits and pieces that were missing last year."



Childress, Von Wafer and team captain Papaloukas will start training on Tuesday and will join Vasilopoulos, Mavrokefalides, Sloukas, Giannopoulos, Karathanasis and Beverely who already started working out.

Quote:As many as 45 representatives of Euroleague and Eurocup clubs will arrive to Barcelona, Spain from across Europe on Monday, August 31 to take part in the meeting of head coaches for the 2009-10 season.





The annual meeting uses first-hand communication from the Euroleague and Eurocup refereeing department to help coaches understand how different aspects of the game will be considered during the upcoming season.



The emphasis will be on Post Play and the Pick and Roll situation
