Haifa beat Jerusalem 98-93 in OT, Maccabi beat Galil Elyon 72-70.
Should be a great final. Maccabi are favorites, but Haifa have excellent defense and could give them problems.

It was not far away, that Channel 10, which broadcast the games, will go "bankcroft"... If Haifa vs. Galil would be the final, they sould lose all the money, after they were sure, that maccabi will play vs. Jerusalem with full house and rating.

One thing is for sure. The team which will win the league will be Maccabi.

I won't take is a guaranteed. Maccabi is the favorite, but Haifa very good and tough team.
Any case, Maccabi will be in the EL and Haifa directley to the Euro-Cup groups.

I think Vilius was referring to the fact that both are Maccabi, so Maccabi will win for sure

Exactly
What about other clubs? Which teams will be playing Europe next year?

My mistake...
Here is usual to call "Maccabi" and "Haifa"...
About your question, Vilius:
Maccabi in the EL, Class A.
Haifa in the E-Cup, direct to the groups.
The winner between Jerusalem and Galil will be in the preliminaries round of the E-Cup and the loser in the Challange-Cup.
Holon will play in the BBL next season.
Only if all the things come togather according to this:

it is very slight chance that Haifa will go to the preliminaries round of the EL, but it seems impossible.

Maccabi had the potential of a strong nucleus of Casspi, Halperin, and Eliyahu. All Maccabi had to do was wait, develop them and Maccabi would of been as respectable as the better nba teams. Instead Maccabi will get is Carlos Arroyo, D'or Fischer and some nba washout. It could be a long season for Maccabi developing prospects.

After a long and hard 2 season's Maccabi TA at last got the championship back...
this game put back Tal Burstein in Maccabi's plan's for next season, all year Burstein wasn't the Tal Burstein from 2001-2006 and he had a terrible season, but in the Israeli F4 he was just great and was the X-factor in the final (along side with Derick Sharp).
the Israeli sport media is just the worst- in the championship celebration's they asked almost every player if he will stay in Maccabi next year- they just can't give the player's a break and let them celebrate???
