It could be nice to see Maccabi in the VTB league but I believe if Maccabi would join VTB or Adriatic it would come to replace the Israeli league and this season the VTB league didn't have many games. If I got it right there were only 10 games in group stage and final four, are they going to change that and expand the competition and number of games next season (if anybody knows)?

IT's already announced that some teams will be added. Tournament's system will be same, but more teams mean more games. There will be two groups.
New teams which are announced as participants of VTB in next season: Lokomotiv, Spartak, ÄEZ and Kazakh team Astana.

Are these 4 teams officialy the only edition? did they say anything about more teams that could possibly join? over here they say Maccabi got an invitation and a source from the team verified the rumor and said they're considering it as well as the possibility of joining the Adriatic

Yeah, that was officially announced but I believe if they send Maccabi an invitation then they may add even at least 2 more teams (including Maccabi) ..
