It doesnt matter what seed we are, goal remain the same.
First three positions are reserved for CL, Partizan and MTA, but who knows in what order... It will be interesting for sure.

I didn't know where can I post it, but Maroussi is out from the EL!

It seems they will also probably be out of the A1 and the team will cease to exist. It's a damn disgrace that the A1 blocked the Maroussi merger with OFI and now look what happened. The A1 is run by such incredible morons.

A1 did not block anything.
There is a new law which prohibits athletic clubs merging. Laws stand for all Greek citizens and institutions. This law actually saved a historic club such as Ilysiakos from being erased from the face of earth due to a "bastardised" merge with Aegaleo.
Roanne 86-79 Alba
Galil Gilboa 84-97 Hemofarm
Groningen 72-84 UNICS
Charleroi 79-68 Nymburk
Buducnost 69-64 ASVEL

Walla sport showed today the agreement maccabi had with macvan, seems like it was VERY close but as macvan said it ended when gershon lost his job
every basket he scored made me feel worse and worse for not
signing him <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='

Yup, Hemofarm made it, although losing at home...
Macvan again awesome with 25 points... I can't wait to see him in EL!
No offence but Maccabi's contract was really poor... I mean $7500 bonus for winning Championship? Plus they would tie him for the next five seasons...
Now he only needs to play good EL regular season and he can get double contract in better EL team with shorter duration.

Well first of all winning the championship isn't something big for maccabi (even though with last seasons since the final four system it became harder..)
and second of all maccabi isn't too rich, I mean were not like partizan or olimpija but maccabi is far from being in the top when it comes to budget.. I mean this season both PGs get 600k dollar together! And according to what they sy in Israel the money they're willing to give for SG (supposed to be the startig SG) is around 300 k if I rememver right.. We weren't close to the rich clubs last seasons too but this time it's even worse.. I mean I'd be surprised if the budget is higher than 12m dollar. (the total budget not just players.. For players I think it's aroud 6 maybe..)
Round 2, Game 1, Tuesday, September 28
Alba Berlin 73-67 Hemofarm
Spirou Basket 75-69 Unics
Le Mans 85-75 Asvel Basket
Budivelnik 58-87 BC Khimki
Great success for Spirou Basket and for Belgian basketball. <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='
