I have it from an "inside source" that the Greek Basketball Federation is already in talks with Dusan Ivkovic about taking over the Greek national team as head coach. All I can say is, please let this be true.

As far as I remember, he quits Serbia that he could work only with the club. IMO, it's not true at all, I think Greeks will go with local coach this time.

He would get paid 1.8 million euros a year in Olympiacos if he was not coaching a national team. He did not quit so he got 1.4 million instead. So that leaves him to coach a national team if he wants to. Serbian federation is not paying him his salary and he wants to quit if they don't pay him.
The hold up would be Panathinaikos and the fans bitching about it because he coaches Olympiacos. PAO has been causing a lot of problems in the national team lately.

Wow, I would love it so much! Ivkovic taking Greek NT and then facing Serbia in some competition or some friendly, it deosn't metter and then destroys Serbia with 50+ just so our federation "bigs" get a one-way ticket!
