Spartak SPB is in talks with Pops Mensah-Bonsu. The English power forward started the season in NBA with New Orleans Hornets playing 7 games (5 minutes per contest) and averaging 0.3ppg and 1.6rpg.

Spartak SPB is looking for a big man to replace Pero Antic who is closed to leave.

On Pops it is reported also the interest of Virtus Roma, who has one transfer left for the season and is on the market more for a player to strenghten the frontline than the backcourt.
It would be really nice if Spartak land Pops, he is one of my favorite Euro forwards... and I can tell you from now that if they release Pero Antic he will come back to Lukoil Academic 99.9%!

That would be great for Lukoil but I don't think that he will be released.

It's better to move in league like Greece,Spain,Italy or back to Slovenia to Union Olimpija. But they don't have that kind of money. <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/agree.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Agree' />

That's a fact but there are rumors that he could move to Khimki. They need a good bigman and they really want Brezec and are also interested in Antic. But I think Brezec will want to play for a big club but also wants a big salary

Don't be surprised if it happens in the summer...
It could indeed happen that Brezec goes back to Olimpija. But I think if he gets a very good offer from another club that he'll move to that club
