Well, that will be an interesting matchup to say the least. Sadly, the Celtics won't have their best playoff performer and best player at Rajon Rondo, but they got three savy veterans at Pierce, Garnett and Terry to go along with the young gun Jeff Green plus the role players such as the, arguably, best perimeter defender in the league, Avery Bradley, mid range specialist, Brandon Bass etc. And of course, let's not forget the man at the bench. A top 3 coach (IMO) in the league, Doc Rivers.
The Knicks will probably be healthy (I don't know about Amare) and mabe they can do some damage. But I'm not one of those guys who believe that they have the slightest chance to make th Finals. That's extreme imaginatioon to me. I'm not sold. I'm not sold to a team led by Anthony. He doesn't have the right mindset, he doesn't know how to lead a team. All he does is jack up shots. Of course, he has the ability to make them, but what happens when he can't? He shoots his team out of the game. It's not a coincidence that he as only get past the first round once in his career.
Anyway, I see the Celtics being a bit tired, that's the impression they give me. I want the Celtics to win badly as they're my second favorite team in the NBA and the current Knicks team is one I hate, but my scenrios as for the outcome of the series are the following.
1. Knicks in 6
2. Knicks in 7
3. Celtics in 7
4. Celtics in 6
