Imagine that NBA is in lock out and you're (your favourite) Euroleague team GM and have the money to sign 1 player, that could be anyone.
Who would you sign and why?
Kevin Durant.. An amazing scorer, probably the best in the world right now but unlike many other great scorers he won't ruin the team chemistry.

Taking into consideration what is the best for my team not only in terms of quality(of the player) but the chemistry too and I would choose Dirk Nowitzki!!!. That's if I had to choose a player for only one season.
Otherwise, I would choose Derrick Rose. His ability to penetrate would play a major role in european style of play.
Also, I couuld choose LeBron(he would definately ruin team's chemistry!!) or Durant(it would be impossible for someone to guard him because of his size and quickness).

Surely not Rose, we saw he struggled a little bit if FIBA games. I would choose Dirk or Pau, peace of cake. Both knows European ball, both would fit to any team, both would dominate.
I would choose Derrick Rose or D-Wade. They are two of the best guards in the world. I think a lots of people would love to have players like them on their team

Considering the NBA 2011 playoff performances I'd say Dirk is the single best player in his position. I think Dirk would demand the ball a bit more than some Euroleague coaches would like but this is only normal.
Kevin Durant is much like Dirk but younger and a bit more aggressive than Dirk was at that age. Durant would fit in nicely in Euroleague.
Chris Paul may be the best choice depending on your team. If you put Paul on any of the Euroleague final 4 that team becomes champion. Paul is smart, passes first and can penetrate when needed. PAO vs MPS with Chris Paul on MPS I think MPS wins it all. If they had Bo Mcaleb and Paul damn it be over. Put Paul on PAO and the competition would be unfair.
