The loss of Petravicius for the tournament hurts. He had been playing well. Apparently his lung disease could have been life threatening. Something to do with how blood clots. I cannot find an english link. I hope that he will recover quickly.

I guess having Jankunas on the roster is ok afterall.

We finally got our first victory.. And it wasn't easy at all but a beast game by Eliyahu 26pts and 10reb got us the victory together with great clutch FTs by Mekel

I'm really pulling for Turkey to do well in this tourney. The refs were not perfect BUT Turkey has poor 4th quarter maturity. They missed freethows and dribbled it off their feet during Lietuva game. Now they couldn't finish off Poland. I like Turkey team and its mix of great athletes and skill players BUT they need 4th Q toughness and maturity. No excuse.

Who is the Jonas V guy??? he has some talent. He could go far in life. I'm joking its obvious he should have played against Turkey.....

Yes and Spain doesn't even need Ibaka LOL! He will help against USA though. I'm excited about Spain vs USA

I don't know which team is 2nd in the world but definitely that's not Turkey.

If you talk about the WC 2010 semi-final, then Serbia for sure had to be in the final!

Oh my god, I wanted to c Serbia Turkey so badly and to win by 30 just for the last year, but, as we can c, they will not have a chance to meet... Maybe... with a little help, and possibly an inch longer court...
