FIBA wants to have 16 teams in the next Olympic Games (London). FIBA president Bob Ephinston said that is his interview (you can watch full interview below). I think it's a good idea with so many strong teams in the world. If they expand to 16 teams, I think Europe, Americas, Asia and Africa will get an extra place. I wonder what would be the format of the competition. Two groups with 8 teams or four groups with 4 teams.

Good news, thanks Vilius. I also agree with the new format, many quality teams that deserve to be in the games will now have a chance.
