Hey all, this is your new Euroleague co-mod, kobimel.
We at TalkBasket have decided to add a new feature, the Euroleague Predictions Competition. Anybody can join the competition at any time. All you have to do is go to the Euroleague game thread (such as this one for Game 6) and post your predictions. The score will be tallied in this thread and the winner at the end of the season will be awarded.
The points system is as follows:
-Regular Season Predictions: correct prediction=1 point
incorrect prediction=0 points
12 correct predictions=16 points
-Top 16 Predictions: correct prediction=2 points
incorrect prediction=0 points
8 correct predictions=19 points
-1/4 Finals Predictions: correct prediction=3 points
incorrect prediction=0 points
4 correct predictions= 14 points
-1/2 Finals Predictions: correct prediction=4 points
incorrect prediction=0 points
2 correct predictions=9 points
-Finals Prediction: correct prediction=5 points
incorrect prediction=0 points
You may join the competition at any time. Just keep in mind that you'll lose valuable points if you join late. All games must be predicted for your predictions to count (ex. I cannot predict just 5 out of next week's 12 games). Partial predictions will not be awarded points. Predictions must be posted before the 1st game begins (ex. for this week predictions must be posted before 8:00 PM CET, the beginning of the Berlin/Fenerbache game).
