Olympiakos signed former International Greek player Nikos Boudouris as their General Manager.
Any news about Macas? Lithuanian websites reported that the court should make a final decision today.
I don't know where they got this info. Nothing about it here. And I can not understand why Macas is in such a hurry. As long as the decision takes, the longest he getting his paychecks from Olympiacos <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Wink' />
And the longer he doesn't play the more his price drops <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Smile' />
Is Giannakis getting any pressure this season? I agree with the opinion that he is not the right coach for the players he has or vice versa. And the team is not reaching its potential.
Papaloukas and Pargo will miss today's game against Kavala.
Good news for both Papaloukas and Pargo who resumed training and will play in the Cup Final.
Childress has returned to Athens from the US. He will continue his physiotherapy in Athens and will be ready to play in Euroleague quarter finals.
Yiorgos Pridezis got injured and will be out for about 2 weeks.
Coach Yiannakis didn't allow Big Sofo to train with the team yesterday and sent him home due to unprofessional behaviour in the game vs Panathinaikos on Sunday.

Naturally he will miss the game vs AJ Milano tomorrow.
Has there been any hint as to what will happen regarding the 2 American spots for the Greek league now that Childress is back? It was assumed that once Josh returned that a choice would have to be made between Pargo and Greer but is this still the case? Might not they save Josh for the playoffs and the rest of the Euroleague and thus delay this decision? There's still some rumblings about Pargo finishing the season in the NBA, but I don't think that is credible. There is also the usual suggestion about one of them acquiring a new passport. I am interested to see how this situation resolves itself.
Well, even if they wanted to, they can't change players until the playoffs start.

So until then it's Pargo and Greer. After that It will be Childress 99% + probably Greer.

According to this, Sofo suspended for one month by the club.

He has been informally suspended since the game against Panathinaikos. Olympiacos has made a suspension application to the Greek Sports Court and are waiting for the outcome. If it granted he will be not paid. For now he is getting paid, just not playing.
What's new about big sofo, the month suspension is over, isn't it?
Not yet. In a week or so. But it's not certain yet if he will be allowed to train with the rest of the team. The suspension was to cut his wages for a month and let him train alone. They can make him train alone while paying him for as much as they want.

We will see soon because they have to make their mind before the Final Four. That game will be the mother of all battles.
Nikola Vujcic will miss the tomorrow's game against Panionios.
