Yup, it's Jasikevicius doing a monster dunk.
this is not a photo but it is rare
I like this pic and the Ententes coach reaction to Gecevičius' triple attempt
Sabonis, Kurtinaitis and other Zalgiris players in SEF in 1989 after losing to AEK 109-95
Also AEK's president Makis Psomiadis in a picture with Sabonis
Apparently
he wanted to sign Sabonis, he had agreed with Zalgiris and was in talks with the player but according to Sabonis himself it did not depend on him but on Moscow Central Athletics Committee
Marjonas Petravicius in NCAA
2003 U19 World Championship: Lithuania vs USA. Can you recognise any players?

Of Lithuania I recognize Linas Kleiza, Paulius Jankunas and Darius Silinskis
Of the United States I recognize Ryan Hollins, Dee Brown,Graham Brown,Paul Davis
Nice topic!
The mullet pic of Sabas is a bit unflattering however
Also, interesting pic of Teodosic getting slapped like a b*tch as usual. I've never seen Saras dunk a basketball. Was that pic from an informal match between PAO players? That's what it seems like.
So I read today that commemorative coins have been released in Lithuania with Sabas relief on it.
Sabas will be entered into the world basketball hall of fame as well as getting honoured by the Portland Trailblazers. Too bad Sabas didn't manage to win himself an NBA championship.
I was rolling on the flour two days in a row because of that video. Kleiza's reaction just killing
At the begging:
Journalist (Legendary
Jonas Mačiulis by the way): "Jonas if not your injury we would probably celebrate the victory against Yugoslavia?"
Jonas Mačiulis: (In a very funny way): "We would but injury didn't let that happen...(Kleiza trying to be serious, but LOLing just after these words and the way they were expressed
).
Some serious physical game back to these days in NBA. I have a feeling there's no type of guards like MarÄiulionis left these days in Europe. The guy could beat any defender with his tremendous quickness, physical power and sharpness. He paid the price of such playing style though - pretty short career and some dramatic injuries.
