Everyone talks about great organisation on Final 4 in Berlin(O2 World Arena) and we are start to thinking were is be held next F4.They was a story that next year will held in London O2 Arena. But why must be held in Europe.I find very interesting story check out what I am talking about.

The French Handball federation has organised the Final 4 of their League Cup for the American Airlines Arena in Miami, Florida, this weekend, as the excellent basketball blog “Le Coach Basket” today reports. Besides bringing a totally unknown sport in the United States to play out a domestic French title is already pretty extraordinary, the terms of the deal the French federation has set up are detailed and highly interesting. In fact, US-based promotion agency New World Sports Enterprises has bought the rights to this Final 4 event from the French League for USD 1 million and has assumed all organizational charges (travel expenses for the teams, lodging, arena, etc.) for a total amount of an estimated USD 2 million. Additionally, the French Handball League will earn 50% of the profits from the event organized in the arena normally used by the Miami Heat. However, the profits will most likely not be very big this year because the event found its promotional partners only very late, and is currently far from getting a sold out crowd. Still, the organization has managed to sell 11,000 tickets in the Miami area for each of the four games to be played at ticket prices running from USD 30 to USD 150 per game. A package for all four games would cost at least USD 90 and can go for as much as USD 450.For me, this sounds like a big success for the French handball federation already. To promote such an event in Miami and have this kind of return seems like a big accomplishment to me. However, the French organizers have concluded a three-year deal with New World Sports and are already in talks to organize the event for Madison Square Garden next year.As a Euroleague fan, we are used to seeing NBA teams come to Europe or Euroleague teams travel to the US or China for a promotional preseason warmup. But is there a possibility of seeing a major event like a Final 4 competition moving abroad?I could imagine an Adriatic League Final 4 or Copa del Rey being played in an NBA city one day, as the interest of NBA officials is extremely high for these competitions to scout new players.Domestic and national value of these events may be high to create such an event. But you never know what will happen in the future, and the promotional effect of such a US-based Final Four may become enormous. At least, for the French handball federation, it seems as though the effects of media exposure worked, as several basketball outlets, including this one.

I think that must be held in country like(Great Britain,Portugal,Belgium,Holland,Sweden, even Switzerland,Denmark and Austria of course they must have arena for this big event.Maybe one day held on other continent.Who know.... <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Rolleyes' /> <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thup.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
My sources say it will be in Zagreb.

In that case London should host it in 2011.
It was rumored that London would host in 2011.

There was no intention of London hosting it in 2010 - don't know where that came from. I certainly never heard of it.
Quote:Zagreb is the candidate for Euroleague Final Four 2010

Croatia and its capital Zagreb are hoping they will be chosen to host Euroleague Final Four in 2010. Given the fact that they have recently updated their infrastructure by remodeling and building new arenas, Euroelague executives started giving clear signals that Euroleague Final Four in Zagreb may happen sometime soon. Now that the new Arena in Zagreb is finished, and has passed the test during the Handball European Championship, the dream could be turned into reality. After the recently held Final Four in Berlin, there were some hints that Zagreb is considered to be one of the prime candidates. However, Zagreb will be facing some stiff competition as application for hosting the 2010 Final Four was submitted by Slovenia and Great Britain. London especially will be a tough opponent as they will be looking to show that they are ready for 2012 Olympic Games, by hosting a major event like Final Four. Another thing they may hinder the Zagrebs ambitions, is the global economic crisis that has hit the country pretty hard. Hosting a Euroleague Final Four is an exhausting task, and many wonder whether Zagreb will be able to financially secure the whole project. Still members of Croatian Basketball Federation are confident that, if given the chance, they will not disappoint. Still the high officials are not losing hope yet. They will wait for the yearly FIBA Board meeting which will be held in Cannes, and they are hoping to have some good news. They are also hoping that Cibonas good results in Euroleague in the past few years will help their cause.

Euroleague Final Four has been introduced in 1988 and the first winner was Philips Milan. Since then it has become the crown of the basketball season for many European powerhouses. TO this day, the team with most won Euroleague Final Four titles was Panathanaikos from Greece who won it 6 times

Well, I said I heard rumours bout Zagreb and they were true. Belgrade was also a candidate but they could not pay the 3m euros required for the insurance. I think the same applies for Slovenia and I'm not even sure if they have a ready suitable arena for a Final Four.

Lodon will probably take it in 2011.
One of the major reasons why london got out of the picture was the lack of local public interest in Berlin. Afaik zagreb still hasn't come up with the insurance which lead EL and cities official to consider other options like Tel Aviv, Barcelona and Rome. Imo it shouldn't be held twice in the same city under the same decade (which would rule out Tel Aviv and Barcelona), but who is to stop Bertomeu when he sets his mind on something. So there are 2 things open right now: Where the 2010 f4 will be held and what the competition system will be like since ACB and the greek federation are protesting to Bertomeu's projected system.
I'd rather see the 2010 Final four going to Turkey or Lithuania than Barcelona and Rome.
