Based on the assumption that the Cav's will run the table and take home the title next season, will Shaq have a case in the argument for the best center of all time? If him and Lebron team up and take the championship next year that will bring Shaq his 5th ring...one shy of Kareem. Right now I think the Chamberlain, Kareem, and Russell own the argument for best center, but will the royal Shaqness be added to the club after this season? I bet Kareem will have some words about it at the Sports Legends Challenge this fall, it will be interesting to see what the big man has to say about the argument.
Welcome to the forum tmoore25! Hopefully you'll stick around here.

Regarding Shaq, he proved to be one of the most dominant centers in NBA history. Winning titles will only improve his position among other legends.
Always like SHAQ his comments about Howard.
Shaq is a legend regardless. As far as the best centers of all time. In no particular order its.

1.Wilt Chamberlin

2.Arvydas Sabinis

3.Hakeem Olajouwan

4.Patrick Ewing

5.Shaquille O'Neal

6.David Robinson

Notice Dwight Howard is not even in the discussion. Also Tim Duncan is more of a foward or he would be in there too.
Shaq is a legend and imo he is one of best centers there ever was and ever will be.
