Barcelona offered Erazem Lorbek 3 million Euros (3.7 million $) per season. He would be the most paid player in history of Barcelona and probably most paid in Europe at the moment. <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='

But he'll go to the Spurs, right? <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/mellow.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='

We will see, but I think that he will join Spurs. Playing in NBA is his wish since playing in NCAA.

That seems like a lot for Lorbek. Don't get me wrong he is a nice player but I wouldn't consider him worthy of being the highest paid player in Europe.
He would be paid more than some of the Euroleague clubs! I hate modern sports...

Well he is the best player in one of the best four teams in Euroleague. Without him Barcelona would have seen the final four. If Kirilenko stays in Europe, than he will remain highest earner. And there is no doubt Lorbek was on second place for Euroleague MVP.
El Mundo Deportivo reports that Lorbek accepted the offer from Barcelona, despite having an even better (!!!) offer from CSKA.

Jordan Farmar will sign a 3 year $10.5m deal with Efes.
The Knicks are on the verge of signing Pablo Prigioni for slightly more than the league minimum. Seems like a heck of a deal for the Knicks.

One of the best local Turkish talents I've seen from the Turkish NT. Smarts and strength in one center package.

Is that a personal opinion, or do you have some evidence to back this up?
