Toronto Raptors president Masai Ujiri addressed the latest development regarding his June 2019 interaction with an Alameda County sheriff’s deputy Thursday.
Lawyers of Ujiri released a video from a police body camera that shows Sherriff deputy violently shoving the Toronto Raptors executive.
Ujiri released a statement and claimed that this is a case of racial profiling. Among other things that Ujiri mentions is the most saddening part of the situation. The fact that he is getting the justice he deserves, because of his reputation as a president of an NBA team.
