Luka Doncic made history in Game 1 of the first round of the playoffs against the Los Angeles Clippers. The 21-year-old sophomore finished the game with 42 points – highest ever for a playoff debut. He also had 9 assists and 7 rebounds shooting 61.9% from the field, 33.3% from three-point range and 93.3% from the free-throw line.
Despite this incredible achievement, the Dallas Mavericks were unable to take down the Clippers and ended up losing 110-118.
Doncic was clearly disappointed with the outcome. When asked about how he felt he played, the Dallas young star was short. “Terrible,” Luka said.
