Lefteris Bochoridis will join Panathinaikos on a 5-year-deal as the two sides agreed terms today with the 20-year-old guard.

The youngster has been a product of the Thessaloniki for his entire basketball career and has signed a lengthy deal with the Greek giants so that he can gain valuable experience.

Last season Bochoridis played 28 games with Aris, averaging 7,2 points and collecting 2,7 rebounds per game. He was also crowned champion with the Aris U20 side in 2013, making his way to the top 5 players of the competition.

Bochoridis featured for the Greek U20 side and he was a starter for the  team this summer in Crete having 12, points per game, 4,3 rebounds and 4 assists.

“Being a Panathinaikos player is a great honor for me. It is a big step in my career and a challenge I want to take,” Bochoridis said after the agreement. “I have said before that, to me, Dimitris Diamantidis is a model athlete. I am sure that I will learn a lot from him and improve.”
