Luka Doncic is not worried about the Dallas Mavericks matchup with the three All-Defensive team players that the LA Clippers have in Patrick Beverley, Paul George and Kawhi Leonard. The Mavericks face a tall task in trying to compete with the Clippers with limited playoff experience, but this will be valuable experience for this team.
The Mavericks need this experience for Doncic because it will be physical and it will grow him up fast. Next year could be an MVP caliber year for the European star. Doncic is ready to take this challenging task head on.
Doncic said about the potential brutal matchup:
“I’m not worried,” said Doncic. “I’ve been dealing with that since a couple years back so I’m not worried about that. They’re physical and we know it’s going to be tough.”
Doncic’s ceiling is high and next year will be crucial for him. Getting the Mavericks to win some games in the series is pivitol in his development. Look for him to bulk up next year and adding physicality to his game after learning from this series.
