Phoenix Suns big man Deandre Ayton missed his coronavirus test on Aug. 9, was retested today and can rejoin the team when the results return.
Those results apparently came back, as Ayton got cleared to play and was en route to joining the Suns for their game against the Oklahoma City Thunder, according to Shams Charania.
Despite Ayton joining the team for the game already in progress, there are no guarantees that head coach Monty Williams will play him even though the Suns are looking to go 6-0 in the “bubble” and make a push for the playoffs.
