Following the loss of the Memphis Grizzlies to the Toronto Raptors, the play-in series for the final spot in the West is now guaranteed.
The first play-in game will take place on August 15. If the eighth-seeded team wins, they will advance to the playoffs. But, if the ninth-seeded team earns the victory, then the second game will be played on August 16.
Four teams (Grizzlies, Blazers, Spurs and Suns) are currently fighting for the eighth and ninth place.
