The Phoenix Suns are in the race to win the 8th seed and play in the postseason, for the first time since 2009-2010 season. Monty Williams, the Suns’ head coach, talked on his team’s 5-0 inside the Orlando “bubble”, after the win vs Miami.
The former Pelicans and Sixers’ assistant coach commented on his Phoenix team DNA. Furthermore, he said his players want to prove they deserve to be among the 22 teams in Florida.
“I just think we have a group that wanted to come here and prove to the world that they were worthy of being here,” Williams said on his team’s mentality.
