Tyronn Lue and Jason Kidd could replace Alvin Gentry in the New Orleans Pelicans’ bench, in case the latter leaves the team, per Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

Gentry, who has been with the Pelicans since 2015, has one year left on his contract with New Orleans.

“Executive VP David Griffin and Pelicans ownership have a decision to make with a year left on Alvin Gentry’s contract, sources said.

Consider two relationships Griffin has back to his front-office days in Cleveland and Phoenix, respectively, if there’s a change in New Orleans: LA Clippers assistant Tyronn Lue and Los Angeles Lakers assistant Jason Kidd, sources said,” Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.
