Carmelo Anthony’s clutch shot helped the Portland Trail Blazers take a win against the Houston Rockets, 110-102. The 36-year-old veteran forward finished the game with 15 points and 11 rebounds.
After the game, former Melo’s teammate in Oklahoma Russell Westbrook praised Anthony for his performance. “Melo is a Hall of Famer, man. He’s an unbelievable teammate. Friend of mine. It’s always good to see him do well. He belongs in this league,” Russ said.
By beating Houston, the Blazers narrowed the gap between them and the eighth-placed Grizzlies to just one win.
