LeBron James was delighted to have proven his critics wrong by helping the Los Angeles Lakers clinch the number one spot in the Western Conference. A feat that hasn’t been achieved in 10 years.

Sports analyst Skip Bayless, an avid critic of James, did not appreciate how the Lakers superstar’s reacted after the game against the Utah Jazz which locked the Purple and Gold as the top team in the West. Bayless pointed to the fact that it was Anthony Davis, not LeBron, who carried Los Angeles against the Jazz.

“After the game, LeBron had the audacity on that given night to gloat about winning the West saying: ‘They said I couldn’t do it.’ On a night in which his new teammate carried him with 42 points and 12 rebounds,” Bayless said on UNDISPUTED.
