Rudy Gobert is tired of being constantly asked about his relationship with Utah Jazz teammate Donovan Mitchell.
“People don’t have much to talk about for months. That was the topic of the moment,” Gobert said, per Mark Medina of USA TODAY Sports. “That’s not a bad thing. It’s time to put it behind. I get asked about it everyday. I can understand. But, I hope they have some more interesting topics.”
The NBA suspended the season on March 11 after Gobert tested positive for COVID-19, and Mitchell tested positive shortly afterwards.
This led to tension between the two over Gobert not taking seriously the coronavirus outbreak, including when he touched the reporters’ microphone a few hours before testing positive for COVID-19.
