Today is Karl Malone’s birthday.

The “Mailman” was a dominant force during his 19-year NBA career.

He was unstoppable with the Utah Jazz, scoring over and over in the pick and roll with John Stockton. The big man won MVP twice and made the All-Star Game 14 times.

While he never won a championship, he accomplished just about everything else possible. He ended his career averaging 25 points and 10.1 rebounds per game. He also averaged 24.7 points and 10.7 rebounds per game in 193 postseason games. He is second in career regular season points and seventh in career postseason points.

Malone was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2010.
