After spending 5 years playing for Fenerbahce, Kostas Sloukas returns to the club with which he has won two Euroleague titles. Olympiacos officially announced the signing of the Greek guard for the next 2+1 years. With the signing of Sloukas, Olympiacos completes its roster, aiming high in the upcoming Euroleague season.
Sloukas had previously expressed his desire to come back to Greece and Olympiacos with Fenerbahce respecting his decision and releasing the player.
Sloukas is returning home since Olympiacos is a club he knows very well. Sloukas has previously played with most of his Olympiacos teammates as well as coach Bartzokas. The fans love the player and so his decision to wear the red and white colors of Olympiacos was pretty easy.
