Denver Nuggets rookie big man Bol Bol was scheduled for a not-so-random drug test after his 16-point, 10-rebound, 6-block NBA debut.

Bol underwent surgery to repair a fracture in his left foot in January 2019 and only played eight games in the G League this season, averaging 12.0 points, 5.8 rebounds and 2.3 blocks per game.

Bol may not get many minutes in the Nuggets’ meaningful games, but he showed a lot of potential and promise going forward.

If Bol can live up to his expectations and potential, it looks like the Nuggets got a steal in the second round of the 2019 NBA Draft.
