Denver Nuggets’ young gun Bol Bol got his first NBA start today against the Wizards and proved his worth in the first scrimmage for both sides.

Bol ended with 16 points, 10 rebounds and 6 blocks in 32 minutes.

The 7″2 centre played in an unusual lineup for the Nuggets earlier today, filling in at small forward.

The Nuggets seemed to play the opposite of the normal ‘small-ball lineup’ and go all out on bigs. Jokic started at PG, Grant at SG, Bol at SF, Milsap at PF and Plumlee filled the gap at C.

Denver won the game 89-82, with Bol Bol taking most of the limelight. However, veteran guard Troy Daniels added 22 points for Denver off the bench.

Bol Bol was drafted with the 44th pick in the 2019 NBA Draft and spent the majority of the season in the G League, before the season was indeed shut short, averaging 12 points, 5.8 rebounds and 2.3 blocks per game.
