The Philadelphia 76ers have made adjustments to their starting lineup. They have once again moved Al Horford to the bench and moved Ben Simmons to the four spot. Simmons will now be a point forward instead of the starting point guard.

While many would think Horford would be down about this, he sees the bright side of coming off the bench. The Sixers have fixed their bench issues by acquiring Glenn Robinson III and Alec Burks and now Horford will join them on the bench.

According to Jon Johnson of Sports Radio WIP, Horford said:

“This is the way that coach wants to go about it. Teams are going to have to deal with the depth that we have.”

The Sixers are trying to avoid not being in the Eastern Conference Finals for a third straight year after being booted out the second round. They are hoping a lineup change will make the difference and add juice to a dismal bench. These playoffs will be big for the franchise’s future.
