Former NBA star Kevin Garnett has confirmed he’s one of the parties attempting to buy the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Garnett played two stints in Minnesota, giving the team the first 12 years of his career. He returned for the final season of said career, following moves to Boston and Brooklyn, to call curtains on what will soon be a Hall of Fame NBA spell.

Shams Charania initially reported Garnett was one of the parties interested in purchasing the team following news of Glen Taylor putting it up for sale. The 15-time NBA All-Star has since confirmed as much via his Instagram story.

Seems like he’s really keen on taking over his former team. Who wouldn’t want to see that?
